NORTHWEST:

--Forecast for the West Slope of the Cascades.

--Forecast for the East Slope of the Cascades.

--Forecast for Mount Rainier.

--On a guide training course our guides found great snow conditions and dry rock in Washington Pass over the weekend. They watched a team successfully ski the "Bowling Alley" chute below the Becky Route on Liberty Bell.

--Heavy snow coverage still dominates the range. Skiers found snow all the way down to the trailhead in Snoqualmie Pass. Good ski conditions were also found on Mount Rainier and near Chinook Pass.

--A team found great conditions Friday on a climb of Mount Shuksan's North Face and a subsequent ski descent. To read about it, click here.

--Cascade River Road is now open to the Eldorado Trailhead!

--Glacier Creek Road -- the road used to access the north side of Baker -- has one deep pocket of snow blocking a large portion of the road. Currently it is less than three miles to the trailhead.

SIERRA:

--For up to date avalanche and weather reports in the Eastern Sierra, click here.

--AAI Guide Paul Ivaska walked in to look at both Temple Crag and Mount Whitney the other day. Both peaks still have a lot of snow on their technical routes. The East Face of Whitney has a tremendous amount of snow on the traverse pitches and any journey to the mountain right now will be a full on winter climbing endeavor.

ALASKA RANGE:

--Forecast for Denali

--We currently have multiple teams on the mountain. Everybody has found good coverage of crevasses and easy movement on the lower Kahiltna.

--Not exactly in the Alaska Range, but AAI Guides Dylan Taylor, Andrew Wexler and former guide Joe Stock just finished a grand Alaskan Ski adventure through the Alaskan Tordrillo range. They found excellent conditions in this amazing environment. To read about it, click here.

ALPS:

--Chamonix and Mont Blanc Regional Forecasts may be found here.

--This website has snow reports for ski resorts throughout the Alps.

RED ROCK CANYON:

-- Temperatures continue to climb in Red Rock and the season has officially ended. The campground is closed and will re-open at the beginning of September.
