As a warm-up, he and his partner climbed the first four pitches of Ham and Eggs last Wednesday and found excellent conditions. The weather subsequently deteriorated and they were required to wait for a number of days for it to clear. At least two avalanches swept the entire route while they waited. Parties on route were hit by the avalanches, but there were no significant injuries. Due to poor conditions Aiden and his partner ultimately elected to climb the Wisdom Tooth instead.
