On the way to the summit of Eldorado. Photo by Stephen Bobick
--Last weekend Stephen Bobick and friends braved the marginal weather forecast and heading up into the Cascades to climb Eldorado. The weather turned out to be a bit damp but they were rewarded for their persistence with great views from the Inspiration Glacier once they got above 7500 feet. Stephen wrote a great trip report and took a lot of photo, which can all be found here.

--The end of May and early June brought some truly incredible weather to the North Cascades. Tons of climbers took advantage of these bluebird skies, including Jason Griffith and friends, who headed up to climb the seldom climbed S. Hozomeen Peak. There were greeted with the typical North Cascades bushwhack approach and had quite an adventure making it to the summit and back down. It looks like they had quite an incredible time, judging from the huge smiles on their faces in the pictures. To read the full report and see some great alpine climbing pictures click here.
