--AAI Program Coordinator and Guide Coley Gentzel was in Talkeetna late last week at the Annual Guide Service Concessionaire meeting and took the following pictures of the chilly Talkeetna River:

The Talkeetna River is glacier fed and stops flowing during the real winter.
Believe it or not, but this is Fall in Talkeetna.

--Temperatures in Talkeetna were in their 20s. Can you imagine what they would be up on the mountain?

--The Alaska season is over until April of 2009, but we are already in the process of gearing up for it. We are now accepting applications for our 2009 Denali expeditions.
